Testimonials

  • Not 5 star comfort but ideal location in Jasper. The bungalows are independent structures spread along the Athabasca River just 2 minutes by car from the town centre.
Much more beautiful and quiet than the more sophisticated lodges in the centre.
Rooms spacious and clean but basic. Would certainly return.”

This is a true cabin experience:  no phones, no TV and no internet. An excellent home base to explore Jasper and surrounding area.”

  • If you are looking for the definitive Canadian National Park “Cabin in the woods” experience, Pine Bungalows is perfect for you. Another great bonus is a complimentary live talk by a professional Park interpreter on the shores of the Athabasca River.

The owners are imbued with a passionate commitment to the environment and have won several awards for their efforts (this includes low-flow toilets, natural areas around the cabins and no use of chemicals.  I would absolutely recommend this resort.”

When you start with nature mere steps from your door and vistas that rival anything you could see anywhere, your vacation is meant to be great. With the advantages of no television, no phone and no work Pine Bungalows is the perfect spot to unwind.”

  • This place is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful! Our cabin was terrific. Those who want some peace and quiet, still with all comforts, don’t hesitate to choose Pine Bungalows.”

    -

This place is amazing. Quiet, serene and completely natural. Surrounded by trees and natural plants so you really feel the true outdoors. Cabins are large. No TVS or telephones but they do have free Wifi if you need it. We had a 2 bedroom with a complete kitchen and extra large window to view the lovely mountains.  Also a private fire pit which we enjoyed each night. We will be back! LOVE THIS PLACE!”

  • Quaint vintage cabins with stonework chimneys situated along the river is the perfect back to basic experience of Jasper’s National Park. Cabins are tidy, nice laid back atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. A beautiful start to your mountain morning is a coffee on one of the many benches along the riverside. A beautiful afternoon spent exploring the Park matched with an evening campfire under a blanket of stars.”

  • What a simple, restful cabin to recharge after a day outdoors. We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in our travels, camped and done bed & breakfasts. This is one of the best for budget, location, simplicity and peacefulness.”

I can say confidently that we will never stay anywhere else in Jasper and that this place has ruined any future hotel room stay for us! The cabins are charming and rustic but offered far more than I expected. The fireplace is pretty and we were swept up in the scent of campfire and wood once we walked inside. Literally 15 steps out the door you are on the bank of the Athabasca River. You are a 3 minute drive from the Town of Jasper but you would never know it once you are tucked away in your little cabin.”
