Our Accommodations
Pine Bungalows creates a Canadian Rocky Mountain wilderness experience while making your stay comfortable, relaxed and realistically affordable. This destination embraces heritage and culture, environmental stewardship, and family history making it uniquely inspirational. The natural surroundings that are diligently protected enhance your opportunity to share the land with the local wildlife. Bring a camera!
Our location by the Athabasca River offers peace and quiet that creates an escape from one’s busy life and the world of electronics. Pine Bungalows is featured as a “green” property and in keeping with that status our rooms do not have internet, microwaves, TV’s and telephones. We do offer public internet use in the front office; clock radios are available upon request & newspapers are for sale if you wish to keep up on World Events.
We have 5 varied styles of cabins to offer accommodation for groups of 2, 4 and 6 persons, depending on your needs. There is a $10.00 charge for each additional person in a Heritage cabin as the rate is based on 4 person occupancy. All the units have a full bath & shower and a kitchen is included in many of the units. Daily housekeeping service is provided and a guest laundry is available on site.
Ask about booking the Conference Center (groups +10), motel rooms (based on double occupancy) and our Handicap cabin that is newly restored.
As Pine Bungalows is a protected environmental corridor for vegetation and wildlife, we have a strict “No Pets Policy” and a “No Smoking Policy” inside any premises. This is enforced by a $250 fine for breach of each policy.
Pine Bungalows makes a conscious effort to bring the quiet of the forest into your wilderness experience when staying in our Cabins.
The simpler you make things the richer the experience becomes.
