Rooms with a View – The Defoort and Walkendon Buildings separate on nav bar Named in honor of the previous owners and their families, the Defoort and Walkendon Buildings are the newest addition to the Pine Bungalows location. 25 rooms, each suitable for 2, guests are comfortably appointed with full baths, hair dryers and knotty pine décor. Each room also has a balcony, mini fridge and coffee service. Guest Laundromat and ice machines are available.
What could be missing? Where did all the televisions go?
Pine Bungalows is a technology detoxifying property. Telephones and televisions are not supplied. We make a conscious effort to bring the peace and tranquility of the surrounding wilderness into your Rocky Mountain experience and into your room! We have clock radios and newspapers for sale should you need to be kept up to date on world events but in this hectic, digitally addicted world, a little Pine Bungalows peace and quiet is strong medicine. Pine Bungalows is a historic place with the original units built in the 1930s. Although each of the units has been fully renovated and modernized, we still aim to bring a bit of nostalgia into your time with us.
It is the perfect opportunity to connect with family, spouse and even neighbors! Take a refreshing walk along the river, hike the many trails around Jasper, go rafting, horseback riding or ride the sky tram, take a boat ride on Maligne Lake or simply relax beside the river and read.
